The implementation of the Smart Portal will start shortly – fortunately in cooperation with our colleagues at Smart Germany, who have also commissioned a tool. The portal will be implemented in several phases for its individual elements. User tests are planned after each phase. The first tests are already planned for early summer 2022.

The development of the Smart Portal will be scientifically monitored by a research group of the Institute for Cooperations and Cooperatives of the Vienna University of Economics and Business: Institute for Cooperations and Cooperatives of the Vienna University of Economics: Prof. Dietmar Rößl, Gregor Rabong MSc and Andrea Vogler MSc. The aim is to investigate the impact of the emerging digital communication platform on (cooperative) participation and communication. A first user survey is also planned for the near future.
