2021 was again a challenge, but once again our user’s commitment has shown. Despite renewed lockdowns, they have carried out a total of 1,323 orders and projects worth 1.7 million euros. 158 new users joined, primarily from the performing arts, education/lecturing, and other fields. We had an average of 65 monthly employees, after a peak in August (76 employees) they were very steady in the second half of the year.

In the summer of 2021, we were able to acquire digitization funding from AK Wien’s Digifonds 4.0. As a result, the participatory development of the Smart Portal has started: an integrated online tool for work management, community and governance that will be finalized by mid-2023. This marks a turnaround in the network of European Smart offices: digital tools are being developed independently in each case. We are working closely together across countries and expect synergy effects. Read more

2022 will be busy: Our main focus remains advising and supporting our users. In addition, we’ll push the digitization process forward and we’ll work intensively on our visibility in a wide range of industries.
